This is a combined effort between myself
and a good poet friend named Steve who
posts with me at another site.He begins
with the first verse and mine are the
alternating verses.I was so humbled
that Steve asked to do a duet with me
and the end result brought tears to my eyes.

I saw it in your eyes tonight
I felt it in the way you kiss
And every day your love I miss

You fill each waking moment
You're a part of all I do
I'd climb the highest mountain
In my quest to be with you

I bless the day we came to be
The day you made the man you see
I kiss the ground on which you walk
My eyes observe you like a hawk

My heart has wings to fly
Feet barely touch the floor
You've unlocked my deep desires
Leaving me breathless for more

My life is nought without your love
We go together like hand in glove
The thought that we might never be
A prisoner of life although I'm free

Your words are my food
As your breath is my wine
Your love intensifies all colors
Like a diamond, how love shines

I feel you close your love entwines
My heart is yours for all of time
There is no one for me but you
Until I die my love is true

Your love loosens my limbs
And beats warm in every vein
It sings sweetly to my heart
And will forever by my gain

I need you here within my life
Maybe as a lover or maybe a wife
It matters not just be for me
I love the way you set me free

I love you more than life itself
My passion burns so deep within
As I await your tender touch
To signal love will soon begin
