-Earth's Angel A glimpse into your eyes hold the fire of my heart. Why is it such pain I feel when we are apart? When I see your face, my heart begins to race. Like waters overflowing, by you my heart longs to be embraced. But your love is just a dream, as your beauty is without measure. For, your friendship, I will forever treasure. Perhaps my love, you may never know. But I can only hope that in my eyes it shows. To risk my heart for what might not be. Why don't I try, for hope you'll see? Perhaps, for now, ignorance is bliss. Hoping and waiting for true love's first kiss. I hope someday to win your love. You're like an angel from above. Forever in my heart.. I love you. |

 This truly is a bittersweet ache isn't it> The one good thing is that friends first, lovers next, is sure a good combination for that forever love. So nicely written for your first posting. Its always nice for friendship to bloom into love...isn't it....I take from your name you like animals....and angels... You should read about them sometime, there are great books on the topic of angels...by your poem, it seems as though you have already read up on them....
