Perhaps it was the light
As it graced the skin of water
That with the turn of season has itself
Found steel grey a hue to embrace
But the luster of diamonds seemed simple glass
On top of wave as they in rows were driven
To wash cold upon the frozen stone.

And I pondered the pass
          Time and love
              Heart tied thoughts
To words on simple white

Knowing there is truth
In change
             There are lies on tongues
That would with venom
         Find in beauty something crass

And all was well come the season
Of imitation smiles
          Filled with whispers
Behind backs
                Wrongs grieved
Imagined
True
            But real to those who
In insecure or muddled mind
Find paranoid refrains
The only songs they hear

And I no longer peered
    Towards the littered foam
I simple turned my head
And left what had been my home

There's a line in some movie I saw years ago and I've tried a 1000 times to remember what movie and what EXACTLY the line was.  Never been able to (I know you're not surprised...lol).
Anyway, it's something about never being able to amend an imaginary wrong.  From what I've learned myself, surrender ain't all that easy either...
So, as your VP of Slackers I'm thinkin' about starting a petition.  That's all I'm gonna do, is start it, of course.  Any thing more and I might have to exert energy.  Then I might get fired for being incompetantly incompetant.
Here's an idea...we could go with this 'holiday' theme.  You could post only on occasions for which Hallmark makes a card.  And selected birthdays.  Oh...and Tuesdays.

You've been missed, Ron.  And not just your clear words of pure vision...but you personally have been missed.  It was great to find you back here.
