Mother Nature waved her wand Basic instinct's been released The Beast must find the Beauty That sees beauty in the beast Can't get what you don't ask for Always has and will ring true But I'm only asking here and now And I'm only asking you I hope you're not offended By my raw and honest style But I want you to get naked And play with me a while Nothing fancy, nothing cheap Be brazen, brash, and bold Say and do things we'll remember But will never be re-told You're by far without exception The hottest girl I've ever met If you say "No", I won't hear "Never" I'll only hear "Not yet" What you think or say don't matter What I do I do for me So I can face my own reflection At peace with what I see Knowing that I'll never Have to wear the Coward's Mask And face each morning knowing That I never even asked © 2003 Gerry E.
