She lives in a safe world part of the time a no caffeine sugar free low carb no fun no love to hold her and no body that doesn't want to love her kind of life. All of this is supposed to make her feel better more energy less stress is what they stress in moments of confusion when she is too tired to stand after the end of a day where loving working being safe and good have exhausted every part of her that wants to really live in moments or in moments of moments. She keeps her temper tucked away her heart safe and her eyes are always searching for a situation to smile in. part of the time she likes to part time and then The night comes down to sweep her off her feats of good girlishness getting to be an older woman. The sugar sneaks in sweetens the sadness (a temporary high) she breaks out snacks while she breaks down the day's perfection and succumbs to a side that just wants to be heard once in a while. But that pen she holds and that voice she has doesn't scream loud enough so her dreams whisper all night simply to spite her vocal cords. She leads a quiet non emotional surface rage just simmering beneath there kind of day and holds it while each frustration shakes it til it spews in a frothy tirade into the air and into ears that will now think twice before trying to guess who she is by what kind of day life she leads. I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! |

wow...quite imaginative, whoever this is...tell her i live in the night too joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless... |

I know who she is. . . she is both. . .and, she is none. . . she is one, and then the other. . . and then, again, she is both, at the same time. . . you know what I told you about stressing out like this. . . -------------------------------------------------------------- I am tired . . . |

Passing Shadows, I'm not sure the caffeine free makes me feel any better either. Thanks for reading and supporting my writing lately. Marcel, sometimes I am good at holding and sometims I am good at throwing. Either way at least some poetry comes of it. Thanks for reading. Littlewing, Enough time in your head and shoes? aww..but they fit so comfortably. Thanks for your support. It means a lot to me. I'm trying to break free from a rather hellish writer's block. Margherita, She could be anyone of course. Thank you for reading. vandana, Thank you. I love that you read my writing. SimplyGold, It passes...but sloowwwwly...LOL! Varuch Elohim, Thank you, and welcome since I haven't seen you before now. I don't get to put in the time here I would like to. mytuesdaywishes, That is the only time I feel that I can really LIVE...come alive. I am a true night person I think. Sven Pen, ME? Stress?!...but this isn't about ME. So...I'm not in trouble again, am I? Love and stuff...the stuff being thanks for your reply and your mere presence here after so long. Brad, You know I love it when you read my work. thank you. I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! |

Jenn, As much as it seems too "pat" to simply say that I identify very strongly with every aspect of this poem, I can't think of a better way to say how much this one makes me feel like I'm looking in someone else's mirror and still seeing my own reflection. Given that I have been away from Passions for way too long (life has a nasty habit of getting in the way and it causes nasty bouts of writer's block!), this was a wonderful poem to come back "home" to. - Jeff "rascalx" PS - On a more personal note, (ooooo scandalous! lol Need to give the gossip fiends something to talk about, right?) I have missed you, my fairest temptress Drop me a line - [email protected]. "People say I should learn some self control; but I just want to exorcise my soul" |

Robert and James, Thank you so much for your encouragement and support. I am really trying to beat the writer's block inflicted upon me for months now. Jeffey? **insert gleeful silly clapping of hands here** ROFL! Its SOO good to see you around here. I just sent you an e-mail which you had better respond to (or I'll torture you in ways you always wanted me to...ohh..wait... thats not punishment is it?) Thank you for supporting this meager piece of writing. I am trying learning to "walk" again as far as my writing goes. I certainly expect to see something here from you very soon. ohh..you have mail. All of my impurities are right here on my sleeve. This is Me"---Faith Hill |
