Last Night Last night, half asleep I almost dropped the pillow that I hold onto while she's away. Suddenly awakened, I realize she's been gone for too many days. The pillow, a poor substitute for the ache of loneliness. The sorrow, as I awaken in the middle of the night replaces her soft caress.
