Darkness desends, wind gusts ten thousand stars into view. Across the universe we are just a faint flicker of light, no more than a tiny droplet of dew. The cold begins to creep, into hearts of crimson and deep. Skies of velvet open out in colours of darkened cobalt blue. Whistling, echoing winds shift that way and this. Blasting freshening winds, swaying bending trees, gusting into me, gusting into you. Lonely moon stares down from it's heights, a vast circle of silver light. Through countless ages of man, the night sky has been a mystery, the timeless, echoing, vastness of heaven, of blackened night. Have you seen jack-in -the green he taps his cain on the ground and signals the snowdrops it's time to grow. [This message has been edited by Jack- In- The- Green (10-04-2003 04:42 AM).] |

Jack: enjoyed your lonely moon, felt the sky looking down upon me within your view of poetic words. Nice to see you back! I enjoy your poetry! ~ARH [This message has been edited by A Romantic Heart (10-04-2003 04:42 AM).] |
