Still is the birth of an October morn, When calm of dawn’s essence is once more reborn, With a first hint of frost on window’s clear pane, A slivered iced prism to dawning’s domain. Sings meadowlark’s note from a dew-wetted lea, Heralding serenity, serenading new day, In the garden a whisper, of daybreak’s first breeze, Cooling night’s shadows, caressing the trees. I open the window to drink of the dawn, To taste of the stillness of nighttime’s begone, To savor tranquillity of a day yet not starting, Within an October dawn, as nighttime is parting. Sun’s first rays a glowing, the land’s scape encase In the splendor of Autumn, in dawning’s embrace. |

(smiles) Oh Tim, this is beautiful, sweet friend, there's nothing like an autumn morning right when the sun comes up and smelling the butterscotch and alderwood and alpine in the air!
