Tears Of October
~*Marge Tindal*~

The shedding comes
I must spill it all
These tears of October
my cry of the Fall~

Memories of making
in quiet heart quaking
Freshness of raw intensity
cries me again~

I reach for a smile
but it eludes my grasp
Tears in great numbers
numb me at last~

They say it gets easier
but what do they know
Unless they've cried my tears
they cannot say it's so~

I only ask for understanding
a quiet place for the tears to flow
These tears of October ...
saline memories needing an outlet~

marge,

this hit so hard for me. my mom died Oct 1, so I know the pain you are feeling. I am so sorry for your loss. I also wanted to tell you my bday is also March 31st. You are in my thoughts during this very difficult time. Take care.
