In The Wind Weep
~*Marge Tindal*~

I hear tears in the wind weep
across a broken heart they sweep
bending laurels of the bough
melancholy refrain ... of long gone now~

Wind weep circles on a shroud of gray
blowing me about in complete disarray
I felt them coming but did not heed
the warning of this heart in need~

Running from shadows of yesterdays' pain
I slip and cannot my footing regain
Wind weep sweeps me against my will
in tears of shed ... ever still~

In the wind weep I find you gone
I know not where ... but, oh too long
No one to shelter me from the seep
of the thrashing, smashing wind in weep~

I cower beneath the earthen sheets
alone ...
alone in the wind weep~

~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost,
the spirit rejoices over what it has left.

Marge...Your talent amazes me.

I find myself in awe of you
Each time I read you on these pages of blue
Your words paint such beauty thru and thru
These words of praise I send to you

Enjoyed...Paul

Deepest appreciation to each of you for letting me know you found a touching moment in this piece~

Sometimes the wind weep wears us down, etching tearful memories deeply into the crevices of our soul~

But, we try to wear the smiles of yesterday and hold the memories dear~

This, Marge, is an excellent piece of poetry...just haunting.

Remember, gone is not gone...forever is not forever....

And no separation can overcome the soul's own seeking for that which will -- inevitably -- complete it.

Not sure how I missed this, must have been that computer gremlin, but darn glad I found it!

This touched my heart and soul and I could feel it way down deep. Sometimes we just have to bury the tears and sorrow under a smile but it is so important to acknowledge that the pain is there!

May the wind wash over us every now and then.

Hugs for a special gem ... Marti

sad poem.  But without pain, joy would not be nearly as easily recognized.  Nice write!

You know Marge, a gentle wind really can have that sound and feel
of a woman wistfully sighing...

Softly blowing against your neck...
Revealing all the secrets, she never could before...

It really can be a stirring feel...

Just like this poem...
