 It's Your Heart AMK 9/29/2003 Your smile washes over me in shades of colors bright Your laughter cascades down around me in heavenly light Your eyes hold me captive with the softest sigh But it's your heart that will never let me say good-bye Your touch ignites me both heart and soul Your gentleness and warmth keeps me feeling whole Your beauty leaves me breathless, we both know it's true But it's your heart that keeps me falling in love with you Your fingertips play delicately across my skin Your tears and pain you try to hold within Your grace never ceases to amaze me time and time again But it's your heart that reminds me you're my most cherished friend You soul met mine on a day long ago Your mind always in sync with mine, it just seems to know Your fingers entwined with mine, our hands fit together perfectly But it's your heart that holds mine both soft and tenderly ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Only One You are the only one for me, we both know it's true It can be felt in every whisper of "I Love You" You are the woman of my dreams, but here you stand before me in reality I've never felt a love capture me, not quite so completely With every breath I take, I want to be with you more and more For every minute that we're together, I think about what beautiful things out future holds in store You have the kindest heart, and your soul just melts into mine I feel as though we've known each other since the beginning of time How can this be? How can a love be this strong? I only know it's what I've waited for my whole life long You are amazing, simply a gift from the heavens sent down below to me With you by my side I feel so happy and free Never question what I feel for you. You know what we share is real It's in every single emotion you and I feel You've touched my life forever, in more ways than you probably know You can hold my hand forever, you can hold my heart too For it is with you my sweet darling, that all my dreams will come true.
