I can't indulge in selfish
What is best for you will be

The purpose of this missive, then
And not some mere envoy

By the way, I know that I've already read this, I just couldn't find my reply here. LOL

Ruth, to me, this is exactly what truly loving another with unconditional love is all about. When we love someone more than we love ouselves and truly want for them what they want, instead of what we want, then we can say we have truly loved.

Whoever this is meant for (smiles) should be very proud and honored to have this enormous amount of love bestowed upon them.

So very true. If you truly love someone it's THEIR happiness that matters, because in the end if they aren't happy then neither will you be. If they aren't happy it affects your thoughts, and your life in all areas. It's too bad some expect that from you, but can't give that in return. Reciprocal IS loving, too. Love is a reciprocating thing. You can also kill love, too. Thanks for sharing this one. Very much the lovely side of the heart.
