THE EMPTY CHAIR I look across the table And I picture her there Early in the morning time She sits there in her chair. She says "Good morning" to me And gently takes my hand Squeezes it tenderly -- It's more than I can stand. I sit thinking 'bout the dream -- The one I dreamt last night Of the sweet love that we made -- So perfect and so right. I pretend to ask, "My love What should we do today? Do you want to do something -- Or just stay home and play?" And I look across the table To find that she's not there Early in the morning -- I find an empty chair. Del "Abe" Jones |

Such a sad write... but I do know the empty chair syndrome, in many ways... |

But...that just shouldn't be! Tell her to come on over, and have morning tea, and fill that chair. Keep the seat warm for ya! hehe Come, and sit a while, and chat! I'm sure she'd love to.This is a bit sad, but a sweet one! Love, Shara~ Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer! |
