I was a layin' on the sofa, just a watchin' me some Leno,
When I heard a great big ruckus, right outside the pitcher window,
I got up to take a look see, and much to my surprise,
It was a flock of dancin' chickens, a two-steppin' a fore my eyes,
They was a scratchin' and a struttin', they was a peckin' and a cluckin',
It made me sort a hungry, and I hankered to be a pluckin'
Well Mabel came a yellin', what the heck is that commotion?
I said Mabel take a gander, that there is po-ultry in motion.
