Crowd Of One your audience daily waits for you hanging on each impressive silky word I too have been part of that crowd but I was pushed out of my place in line stop writing about me I was your salt but now it only flavors my burning wounds and you… are breaking my heart "wish your room had room for two" John Mayer |

These painful feeling are well and clearly stated. Is it possible that this person thinks more of you than you know? |

That's so painful -- and a pain I have known, though only for a short while. I hope there's a resolution, and one that eases you. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

One is the lonliest number ... especially in a crowd! With each breaking wave you will find that you are never alone. |

I too have been part of that crowd but I was pushed out of my place in line I was feeling very empathetic... then James' response left me smiling. *S* Excellent work! |

I read this the other day but didn't have time then to respond. Went looking for it today. An effective, strong (even in it's vulnerability) ending always impresses me and this poem, the way it read all the way through and then ended with perfection, has stuck with me for days. I could hear it. And then the pause, before those last two lines. And then...those lines. Really, really liked this Helen. Excellent write! |
