Whine Of The Rain Forgive me if I sigh just a little to long in your memory If I fall short, for just a second, of reality here Last night I dreamed you were in the clouds to rescue me And, a little life fell from the eyes of sincere... Ever blessed to see true light once more Oh, what a feeling to relive that breeze Remembering was hard on the heart but easy to the eyes Just holding the sweet hands of bitter sleep... I just gasped at what so used to be Died just a little for the angel once sent to me Cried in the arms of the moon hanging overhead Resembling the whine of the rain on forgotten's bed... Forgive me if I drown in my very own sound Thought I could handle any waters weighing down I'm still the same woman just battered and bruised Relying now on sleep to find a part of you... Just praying hard enough not to open my eyes Looking endlessly where maybe your heart might lie I'm falling like the leaves drowning here in misery Just as lonely as the whine of the rain could be... Oh, I know hopeless and just how it feels And, I know my midnight journey just wasn't real Not a day goes by when I remember how you were gonna save me Just wish I would have never recognized that familiar breeze... Sauni:)The Only Time I See The Sun Is When I'm Within That Vanilla Breeze.The Only Time I'm One With The Sun Is When He Shelters Me From The Rain. |
