To Be Loved...Be Lovable

Oh love, it's a most beautiful delirium
It all must go, there's someone for everyone
It's no lie to claim
I finally understand Jesus significantly
One is not a lover who does not love forever
Convinced, I evince the Truth with spirit
It won't be vanquished, it won't be relinquished
Should I forget, you'll know I'll try again...

"Blessed is the wooing
That is not long a-doing."
As we're all children of the morning
Dancing in the snow and debris
In at least one instance it's worth to have trust
Every time you see the rainbow gesticulate
And everything else seems to hibernate
Oh, make hay when the sun comes shining!

And it's okay to always cry just a little
Because there's a smile within that solves the riddle
And if each long day's night feels like some Pyrrhic victory
You'll find out soon enough you've made more than you can see
All it takes is some good karma and alacrity
To keep your posture tight, and believe in heaven and thaumaturgy
And it's OK when there's not much to remember
Just as long as you remember deep down
