at first we had puppy love
always kissing each others
face and playing and romping
around and cuddling and napping

then as we grew older we bonded
into a happy life and
fetched for each
other

as time passed and we grew older
something happened for now all we do
is snap and growl and
fight all the time

Is it that we out grew puppy love
or are we to old to play
and fetch

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Glenn, this is so very sad, sweet friend, I believe the puppy love should always be there as we are young forever and love should feel young and spirited! (sigh) May your love always be filled with not only trust and foundation but also joy and fun, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Glenn, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

It's a hard reality to admit when love gets a little less simplistic. Good write, Glen.

The first to fetch should be
the first to plan the playtime.

If the other doesn't follow, try,
try again!

IF there was true puppy love
and it GREW, it's probably lost
it's sparkle cause the playtime games
became routine, but underneath the
growls, it's more than likely still
there, only more mature.

Now ~~ WHO will be the first to fetch???

(Giggles!)

Good write Glenn!

somewhat sad, as I have had those.  but have found that we make our own reality, and teach others how to treat us.  start sniffin' around as if you are new to each other ;-} Peace, Joe
