The caterpiller claws backward on mud clogged tank tracks. It pauses..then plunges at the dirt pile mouthing huge clods. The man on top pulps a tobacco plug. Man and machine back off and groan again toward recepticles. They gag and spit shaking heads vigorously, straining, arched inseparably, a gritty taste in the mouth. (big hugggsssssss) Oh Larry, this is powerful, sweet friend, I fear for the real caterpillar there and I pray for it as it is such a scary place to be! (sad sigh) This is powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Larry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! A man's poem -- with a feel for what a man can become, or may have to be, depending on your point of view.....and a clear word that it's not the only thing he can be. I know what it is to be that guy, and have been him; I know what it is to be the poet, and I am him. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
