Calm Before the Storm Upon the window sill I lean, A picture of calm I have seldom seen Perhaps the God's have passion unseen When pure the heart is free from sin. As Jacob battled with a man unknown And hip misplaced by anger's scorn-- So do we the loved wear the golden crown, A gift misplaced by Heaven's frown? Or do we bravely face the fury from above When the Holy Grail the myths alcove? Let me inhale this golden splendor Before my Saviour remembers His endeavor; A time so sweet, reminds me of November, A Fall so amber I can feel the stars burning embers, A moment so silent That death becomes irrelevant. Subtle is the storm that covets the skies And true to death, black will be the light; To the horns of the Heaven's our hearts will cry And upon a window sill once so bright, The shadows of black ravens will begin their flight.
