There are times in lathered fear When insecurity leaves hollow void That shadows the tether of the heart Where light began descent on light Then fed itself into the darkness And yet Each time I linger far too long upon the ledge It is you I conjure here, to curl within And you that sparks my courage to refuse The crash and burn Copyright Kkh 11/22/03 |

Narrow, this lofted ledge, high among the clouded peaks... Sparse, 'cept a lone weathered tree, limbs outstretched to grasp...upon the slip. May your journey always have this weathered tree..as you step cautiously through life. Nicely done K. Excellent write. |
