You wore the sun the day we kissed, the sea sang a lullabye, the sky rolled like blue marbles, the color of your grinning eyes, and you squinted, when you snuck your arm around me, you said you'd marry me,i'd be your girl, and we'd be together till the end of time, then the moving men captured you with their giant claws, they wisked you off, leaving me sobbing, waving goodbye, so i stuck my tongue out, at you, at life, and wore long brown pigtails, and black maryjanes, on that day in may when you owned my first broken heart. OMIGOSH! How could such a sweet poem have no replies yet? I adore this and the innocent picture it creates for me. I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! |

Sometimes sad beginnings have happy endings. Who knows, maybe the moving man will deliver your boyhood sweetheart back. Really well done work and touching! |

Inkedgoddess, again you touch me with your powerful tale. Ahh those moments when the world really seemed to crash and we would not believe that the sun would rise again ... Love, Margherita |
