through the conundrums
of all that is
sounds of life enter
like songs of
rustling leaves

drumming in
thoughts
in wavy rhythms
spreading sure-footed beats
of priceless joy

that’s when
the newborn cries
in sparkling bundles of
free-flowing
energy

while young lungs breathe
gusts of fresh airs,
generations of elders
celebrate:
the future that is here
