mouths of songbirds
bathed in morning light

Old wind plays
carrying lyric notes
dancing among the tree tops
to ears of those
asleep

Hear you infant soul
song of life
song of etrnity

For it fills
completes what we
once were
epiphany
sacred vision
of angels
Seraphim of the highest
divine

They circle
breathing into mouth
honey sweet
perfection

I am raptured
enthralled
touching paradise’s gates
in moments breath
but in the same
I am yet a man
waiting for rebirth
from the fires
of heaven
