Damn them all... that's how she feels but can't express those words in real, because she is the one, the only one who cares yet is never noticed for the good in her. What is the use in being that way, in the end what will it bring? Even self-satisfaction doesn't take away the sting and the guilt of saying "Damn them all." Maureen, I can really understand what you are trying to say here....been there and there are few feelings more frustrating. Yes, you can have the self-satisfaction of knowing you're right but somehow that just doesn't seem to be enough to dispel the feelings, does it? So who said life was fair?  |
