If only to say I love you

Dare I beseech thee?
grace my virgin soul
with poetic melody
honey sweet
crafted by heaven's angelic host

Dare I walk a path where feet
where feet never trod?
Onward toward uncertain futures
waiting to be born
hopes of the heights of love unattained
lore of passion's caress

Dare I proclaim from mountain's peak
guarded secrets
for fear my heart can scarcely utter?
To say the words
"I love you"
seems but a simple thing
but all but impossible behind locked lips
for which there is no key.

A million miles I would wander
in search of love
But alas this poor fool
does sit pondering
whether or not to open heart's door.

I like this. I myself feel I can relate to your words because I have trouble saying those three beautiful words too. I believe the day will come for you and a special someone to express your love to each other and it will be more beautiful than you ever imagined.
