Between the Lines

My eyes
heavy with thought
behind the scenes,
dreaming unorganized
waking to panic.

If only
it would slide off me
the weight
the wait
wishing to control
what can't be
wishing the aloneness
would tire of itself
and fade into
the shadows
of each night.

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)

some days I feel the weight/wait of the world on my shoulders...and then some days those dreams are halfway between here and there...strangest ideas sometimes
thank you

Oh yes...what a brilliant line!

some dreams evaporate with morning light, while others linger...who knows exactly why?
unsettling, deep write.

''My eyes heavy with thought''...i know all too well of this feeling....sometimes we think a little too deeply....but there is no changing the habit of a lifetime...we must continue with the deep thoughts..they are shadows that creep into and out of our minds....thank you for the great words...

Maureen, it is odd how that some of our
dreams can be remembered with every detail.
Then, others leave as soon as we awake.

Good writing, as always, my friend.
