When love goes away, there is nothing but night The things that were treasured are no longer right The darkness surrounds and the tears flow like rain When love goes away, it's replacement is pain... The dreams that were shared now belong to the past Reality hits like a cold winter's blast You soon come to feel what you've tried to deny That what you called love, only lived in your eyes... When love goes away, it takes part of your soul It breaks you, and shatters the heart that was whole But no one can hear when you fall to the ground For love simply leaves without warning, or sound... |

It's such a God awful feeling isn't it! If we're lucky enough to find the answers inside of ourselves, we learn to accept the reasons why and move on. I don't think any of us are perfect, mistakes are a given, both in friendship and in love. Placing the blame serves no purpose and only fuels the fire....that, being my first mistake. This is so sad, and so true, breaks my heart in two all over again. Nicely done Sunnyone~ I hope this isn't about you. |
