~I cannot wave
my goodbye
without you here to see the gesture

Volatile seasons
pushed me to graze skins

breast to bone...

cradling such heavenly torso
cost me lives

The prestigious
unveiled satin red of seep
~a picture of accidental fall

I am for all to see

I never long for hands bound
in promise of what neither will agree

..but for recovery
and mine
from you

~I don't want to talk about it

The haunt of instinct
to not know him out of harm
for rest of my days

mute to if he is here

if not in union
but in this state of alive

Your writing so often finds recognition with me, as I shake my head at the parallels.  Excellent write Gemma.

You may not want to talk about it,
but you write of it with a flair.
Very well done, Gemma...

I can not even begin to explain how very close to my own thoughts those lines are...

Gemma, this is outstanding!

This made me think of my ex-girlfriend who didn't give me a chance to say goodbye...last week I saw a woman that looked a lot like her and had some of the same mannerisms and I began to think of her again...a friend of mine saw her recently at a new place where she works and she asked him how I was doing and he said not to good...I do miss her...but I am doing fine...life goes on...James
