Watch her corners
wrinkling
diminishing
eliptical
sirens shrieking
blue on blue
as her stoic fades to black...

Hands
are feathered fans on face
spans
bewitch a fingered spread
keening in the rhythmic need
peaking
through the overgrowth
parting
fronds of a palm's pain
never
never
love again
slibble
down one side of chin
she nods as if she knew...

We do let forage grow to high. Most don't see through it. Good thoughts!

You have a raw passion that I don't think I could ever match. enjoyed...and here is a trip to the top for you.

simple grief would be flushing your goldfish down the toilet.

un-simple grief is losing half your family in three years.

Thanks for your understanding.

I do know what you mean... in my own way...
Like 10 people in the last three years alone for me...
to you, hang on!

Always, Alyssa

So deep the expose of the inner shadow, as opposites enlighten, and sorrow recognizes it's twin in joy.

Wonderful write. TD

You reached in and grabbed my solar plexus with this, yet another, brilliant write. When you write, words are living things! One cannot read a poem of yours and walk away unaffected.

Peace, Love, Harmony ~ & Eternal Life,
Healing hugs,
