Bedtime roses cascaded on my bed
Calls for no reason, mid afternoon
Surprise deliveries, I’m not asking for the moon
Just one passion filled I Love you, echoing in my head

I want someone to pen their love for me
Someone to give their jacket when I am without
Someone to leave Hershey kisses on my car
Spelling I love you….and make it feel like a shout

Someone to send me a card in the mail
Just because
Someone to sit and try to recall my every detail

I want to be wooed
I want him to think I AM the cats meow
To be the first conscious thought upon opening his eyes
Hey, I want someone to give ME the dryer fresh towel

When apart, I want him to ache in my absence
To pine for me
What? He will breath without me?

I want, I need
To be
His very pulse

To be
Adored

To be
The ONE
For someone else

There are only three beings worth of respect; the priest, the solider and the poet; To know, To Kill  and to create.

First...
you have to give all that
in order
to receive it all back...

then you can sit under the pines
and recite poetry...
with him

So beautiful...and you only ask for life's simple pleasures.
I do hope you have or find that special someone.
Hugs~

The right one will come along.
The moment you quit looking.
Don't give up your dreams.
