In Soft Gather
~*Marge Tindal*~

You came in soft gather
of hard lessons from the past
Hoping to undo the ache
that the break had cast~

The pleas of please forgive me
fell fervently from your lips
Not realizing that before you asked
I already had~

As I looked into your eyes
watching you fall apart
I knew that the pain of letting you go
would not be easy on my heart~

So I held you very close
one time more for love’s sake
Knowing that we will meet again
not as lover’s … but as friends
And we will cherish that moment
foreverly~

~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost,
the spirit rejoices over what it has left.

Marge, this one actually made me sad, but it's a beautiful write.

Ah, Marge, this was hard to read my friend. The love, tenderness and heartache touched me so deeply.

I hope it will work this way.

Hugs and loves, Marti

I wish!!!  Forgiveness is a trait to be admired...your poem made my heart race and sigh out loud.  Thank you for shedding the softest light and touching on a subject that makes all the difference in the world.

Peace to you Marge~

Marge, your beautiful soul is showing! The Universe has a way of rewarding such beneficence. This generosity of spirit will not go unnoticed.
