FLORIDA SUNSHINE The sun is shining brightly The water's calm and smooth The boat is rocking gently I barely feel it move. White clouds off in the distance Slowly turning to gray I see the line of showers That are heading my way. A distant flash of lightning The thunder's rumbling sound Pitter-patter on the deck The rain starts falling down. The wind churns up the water The boat begins to rock And starts tugging at the lines That hold it to the dock. The rain becomes a torrent The wind begins to howl Mother Nature's friendly smile Becomes a savage scowl. She clears her system quickly The rains go on their way And the sun comes out again A typ'cal Florida day. Del "Abe" Jones |

Nice. The storm is the hardships life throws at us? Or am I reading too deeply? It could be read literally or figuratively, which is very cool. It is better to leave a vessel unfilled, than to attempt to carry it when it is full. - Tao Te Ching |
