upon the sparkling seas
we christened our ship of dreams
our hearts delicate and brandnew
wrapped in skies of chiffon pastels,

now the oceanview has clouded,
the crystal clarity of path gone astray,
the day you changed direction and swam to shore,
leaving me here alone without destination,

bittercold the winter soon to come around,
the hint of glowing moon a mere hollow shroud
of a love that doesnt whisper to my heart anymore,

and i wish you peace and pray you are well
though an inkedgirl would spin this poem
with the slap of revenge and arsenics spell,

but i can only be the stranded girl you left behind,
at the mercy of the ocean that knows my very core,
though you have never really seen this shining light as well,
and iwear my badge of heart for all without compromise or fascade,
needing not to cover up or hide my soul,
knowing with or without you, this heart goes on.....
