hands clasped around knees she sits unmoving, for these are the days when the trees are crying contrasted by the dark threatening sky their tears fall silently one on top of the other hands clasped around knees she sits unmoving, grieving with the trees she could be raking, tidying the disorder bagging and tying up the weeping, but at this moment nourishment need not be utilized it will be stored for future growing now is time for all that is unfaithful to be leaving hands clasped tight she sits unmoving, for these are the days for crying [This message has been edited by jellybeans (11-14-2003 09:39 AM).] |

I know this mourning time, and you've done others a service, by depicting the ache so well. |

Lady~ Perhaps without knowing ... you have written the mourning of me~ This will touch me for a long, long time~ I read it ... and realized that I needed to go out into the warmth of the sun ... wrap my arms around my knees and rock it out of me~ I can't come up with the proper words to let you know just how much I NEEDED this~ But please know that I did~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |

From the first verse, I felt your words instead of just reading them. *S* This is excellent, lady. |

Like Marge, I also needed this. I'm at a loss for words to convey how much you always touch me with your poetry, you're one of the finest poets here. Melissa~ Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world! |

Sometimes it is best to let the leaves fall - no raking, no tying - just letting them fall until the wind takes them away. Eventually new buds will form and life will renew itself once again... |

I guess I needed this too... alot. I'm gonna store this in my library because I don't have time to cry right now... but I need to.... soon. Thank you for this... and sorry you feel this. Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - |
