I have not posted in a while, and I'm sorry. Here is some fresh stuff for you to read. I have been writing it in my creative writing class. I'm still working on it, so I could just post the rest later. Enjoy! Life Is it normal to feel this alone When people you think are friends sit behind you And talk and ignore you? Is it a common problem for some to feel betrayed When all that was said was a lie or three? Is it my place to expose what really happened in the room Behind the door of the cottage? I?m never sure anymore, but don?t you wish you were 5 again? When you were younger. And nobody thought of hurting anyone else. You weren?t worried about your friends talking behind your back. You didn?t even know what that was. But do now, and it?s no foursquare. People judge people because of the smallest things. At age 5, you all listen to the same Barney or Muppet Babies theme song. Who doesn?t want to do that? You can all at least sit in a room without yelling or screaming At each other. But here you are, high school seniors who can?t act their age. You can?t have this or do that because you don?t act your age. You can?t concentrate on school because you?re all potheads. You can?t behave in class because you are all intoxicated. You can?t have fun because you have ruined it for yourselves. It isn?t the boss? fault. It?s your own. How stupid can you get? How dumb can your actions be? How naﶥ can one class be? How dense can you be to not know you have to grow up sometime soon? How irresponsible can you get to still be lighting up in the bathrooms? Why can?t you just learn? If you aren?t willing to learn in the classroom, you should learn from life and your mistakes. Listen to what people tell us you should know and what to and not to do. ?Don?t do drugs.? ?Don?t drink and drive.? ?Do your homework.? ?Take responsibility for your actions.? ?Listen up. You might learn something.? ?Don?t waste your life.? ?Just because you dreams have died, don?t drag me down, I?ve still got mine.? I swear, some of us look like you are just so miserable and exhausted from all the drinking and ecstasy and pot. It makes me feel exhausted. I hate that feeling. Like I?m sick of the alcohol being in my veins. Like I can?t handle another hit. Like I really need that cigarette between classes. Like I live for the party every weekend with all the Vodka and Skyy. It?s so strange because I don?t live for any of this. There are just too many of you who do, and it rubs off. Everyone is exhausted. Even if they slept all weekend. Has anyone ever been straight edge and felt like they have betrayed their parents? trust because they come home from school because they feel like they have been drinking and hitting it all weekend? Anyone? Anyone at all? It?s disappointing and degrading to our school?s society of students. Just stop. Get your life together. I know I can?t change they way any of you feel or what you do on weekends. But you should listen to what I say. "The green of your eyes That you get from your father Shows your personality, Such a young girl with an equally Young and foolish heart." ~Lynn M [This message has been edited by iwontdrownagain (11-14-2003 02:20 PM).] |

being in HS is difficult for anyone. You change so much, grow, learn about people, etc. Yes, you're not alone in this, but it passes :-) Great write and keep up the classes Do songs on the radio sing to all the fools in love? |

(big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I am so happy you are here and writing out all your thoughts as we truly love having young writers here as we never let go of that teenage-self in our hearts! (sigh) It saddens me to see so many walk down those long halls and hrough the double doors with their heads staring down to the pavement and I only hope they seriously take my advice to excel beyond their bodies, sweet friend, God Bless You, you are a wonderful role model for the high-school student body, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth |
