I see the tear drops on your pillow. I know the pain you feel inside. everytime you hear his name You turn around and cry Well I tried to warn you, tried to give you advice You didn't heed my warnings So he abused you by day, he abused you by night You came to my house screaming in your fright that I was right I soothed you through the hours, made sure you were All right You returned to his arms, with the promises he made He slit your throat the night And now I stand above your tombstone And shed tear drops upon your grave Pray for forgiveness Slowly turn away in search of revenge For that horrible day As the same demons lead me astray. I'm a dying romantic and when i can no longer write i can no longer live -Jeremiah Johnson- |

Jeremiah~ This is so very sad ... and unfortunately, so very real for women in abusive situations~ Should be read by so many~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
