Lone owl, a spirit curving across the moonlight, carves his silent name. |

I could picture the owl. I liked this a lot. Cold hands means a warm heart |

Once when I was 13, I was on my way to work...3 a.m. in the morning...worked at a bakery...I looked up and there sat a great white owl...I stopped, and felt so lucky and privilaged to have seen this white beauty. I couldn't move....didn't want to ever forget the sight...in time...his great white wings spread, and it seemed as if he looked down on me for a moment when he took off... Slow motion ascended...he turned, then too flight...as I watched I felt sad at his leaving...but remember feeling so filled up with awe at the sight of him...pure white he was...and large...beautiful I dunno, stupid I guess, but that's what I thought of while reading this. |

That's the exact experience, LeeJ, but backward....when we saw him he was in the air, flying loops and swoops. Then he turned and went directly over us, descending toward the roof as if to land. He went out of sight and we didn't want to disturb him by running around trying to see if he landed up there. Big pale beauty and utterly silent in the air. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
