A gang of them, crowd the coffee house Porch, sit at summer tables Covered with frost, not linen Giving the finger to November, Whose bad mood does not phase them; In spite of the cold, they are glee-filled. * An early winter, wind is warmed By the laughter, of these girls gone wild High on clouds of burley, and bright Washed down by double-shot latte; * The smoke and coffee increasing Their heart-beats and speed-rates Of giggles, incessantly mixed, Producing a static chatter. * end |
