Basket of Colorful Thread Many colorful threads leading down different paths of life. Angora, the color of powder blue, making booties for tiny feet. Silky thread of white embroidered about a hem of a christening dress, leading to a wedding gown of white. Crocheted hearts, filled with sachet of midnight, encircled with satin ribbons of mauve. The sachets holding memories of a mother sitting, rocking, crocheting, telling fascinating stories of her past youth. Multicolored threads making an intricate piece of lace, that will flow around satin and exotic perfume. Autumn colors made into a design of leaves and colorful butterflies. These threads of Autumn, decorating jars of honey and fresh homemade jams of strawberry, raspberry and delicious pumpkin cream delight. Dear reader. I will share my colorful basket of thread. Pick your favorite color, your favorite texture. Maybe..... silk thread for romance, cotton for practicality, nylon for endurance. Choose.......... see where the different colors of thread may lead. Hiya Lady...Great to see you and read your colorful words....how generous this is, along with all your poems...like a fruitbasket of great big smiles....warm socks, a fireplace with bright orange colors skipping around lighting the room. A very wondrous Basket you weave Best wishes for a great day...is it windy out there, we're supposed to get 50 MPH winds today, and I think you are to...if so, batton down the hatches girl, or you'll blow away! Be safe, and thanks so much for sharing. |
