DEAFENING SILENCE

Alone again…
I won’t let
the cold of these words
touch
the warmth in my heart
because…
one day mijn lief
one day…
your loving voice
will break
the deafening silence
that stayed behind
after you left

i know this silence...and I love this poem.

"My ears have not yet drunk a hundred words
Of that tongue’s uttering, yet I know the sound:" "Romeo and Juliet"

No...
you will never let
those words
touch your heart...

smile...

he is smiling back at you,

just as YOU are smiling back at us.  It's so nice to SEE you, Neeraja!

Neeraja:  A beautifully written sad poem.

Good for you!!! Keep that warmth. Nothing is worth losing that part of yourself. Hold on to it really tight.
Love,
Terri~
