We have been A harmony that fills my lungs with song The welling of emotions in their marks of glistened jewels And I become again the flame as you wash over me Giggles that remain the feathers of my pillow Smiles where I sink into the quilted down Strange, the fear is gone Poured out into fresh powder Lilies open on the snow Washed with sunshine, warmed in flavors Of the moon For night no longer quivers in a restless pace So eager for the touch that soothes my sleep We have been So much more and ever always And as you leave But never go…and never go Copyright Kkh 11/10/03 |
