you haven't talked to me in pretty tones in such a long long time but tonight you speak softly as if you remember what we had as if the words i sent you touched you i didn't know that could happen again i thought you were untouchable you haven't given me a hug in such a long long time but tonight you're arms surround mine as if you remember that song as if the song we sang two years ago reached you i didn't know that could happen again i thought you were unreachable you haven't handed your heart to me in such a long long time but tonight you guard it safely with my palms as if you remember the feeling as if the dreams we had of forever danced for you i didn't know that could happen again i thought we had forgotten what forever tasted like joy has its own justice. and dreams are languid and lawless. and everything bows to beauty, when it's fierce and when it's flawless... |
