The white clouds sailed by, Gracefully floating, rising And racing across the sky. The birds gather, flittering around. Gathering and bursting like fireworks Bursting across the sky. Some animals begin their sleep To rest and rejuvenate till next year To wake refreshed and new The snow then falls from the sky Blanketing the world in white Renewing the land with the cold snow The sun soon returns to its warming heat Melting the snow into little rivers Washing away the old, to make way for the new The cycle begins again Life, death, rejuvenation And a new season starts again You are a good poet as soon as you try to reach others with your words. |
