i'm not sure if i like the title for this but......

Within me I see your presence
Like a beacon shining in the night.
So much in our lives in existence
Become one of our hearts delights.

For me one thing of importance
Was the friendship I shared with you.
A relationship of genuine caring
Between 2 hearts where love did ensue.

Yet,
Somehow the hurt came upon us
And we went our separate ways
The distance growing more stronger
As the hours turns into days.

There isn't always an explanation
For the way things happen in life
There won't always be an answer
To all your pain and strife.

Sometimes you stand at a crossroads
And there doesn't seem to be an end
Like the one that I'm facing this moment
That caused  me to lose my friend.

Right now my thoughts are quite simple
As I journey on down this street
I try not to show you my heartache
But without you,
I feel incomplete.
This was written about a friend......someone that I love so very dearly.....but unfortunately due to carelessness I've lost the relationship.

welcome to Passions..
how odd that I have a friend who might write this very same thing...

*sigh*

Enjoyed...just makes me wallow in my sadness more, but at least it makes me do SOMETHING.

Welcome to Passions!

It's good to write emotions out...sometimes it's the only way we have to get it out of our systems. Looking for more of your poems!

wow thank you everyone for the warm welcome and kind words.  I wasn't sure what to expect. Unfortunately Most of my poetry comes from hurt.  I seem to have a knack for writing pain.......trying to turn that into love .  Lets see where my writing leads me.
