Our love brought us to our knees
I trembled at your touch
We were both so eager to please

In the afterglow of love
You leave me breathless for more
Amongst the remnants of our pleasure
We lay together on the floor

My passion is still burning
Like the embers in the fire
I wait for love to quench me
And satisfy my deep desire

We feel so close to heaven
As we two become one
Making love throughout the night
Until the rising of the sun

In the morning you will leave me
With a smile upon my face
Until again we rendezvous
