It was on this day
I noticed – another tear drop,
rolling - down the face
of turmoil.
Simplicity in form,
but, for a moment
It’s function wasn’t the same.
Creeping with the
wilderment, like old door
casings revealing – how long.
With how many times/have we
seen – and how many of those -
characters have passed.
As in, temperance and
and a lost key.
Holding onto the,
benevolence – of which is,
to be.
For you see –
The closer I condone
the real lining of our,
wants and needs.
This tear - reflected
ME.

If nothing is something
then everything is
our thoughts and feelings
and all that exists.
