This is the gathering time,
of rainy day finds to
thaw those frozen nights.
Branches and leaves
abundant as pennies,
copper the ground.
November is uncertainty
on the road to
the unknown,
a solemn prayer
on the eve of the
whimsical Fall.
O but to hide away now
with the beautiful one,
drunk on the full moon,
our souls
gifted with the makings
for dreams,
as the deep slumber
approaches.

Nice job.  Typical darkness but I really like how you still keep the reader guessing on what might come next as your subconscious streams out on each subsequent line.  Keep it up!
