Dementia throbs in a powerfully enthralling intimacy
Where my obsession becomes rather…well….Catholic
Describing the trauma of inner experiences
I’m wondering what mental hospital abandoned favoritism?
Not to mention a responsive oneness, with mankind?

In my adult, larger-than-life, I’m still standing?
Could it be some stereotypes assume this power?
Of my eyes, writing seminars while times are extreme?
Who understands me better then me and knows the order?

Who’s watching the stores? And what about all the gossip?
Seeking out an almost godlike hour….
This despairing form of madness, maligns self of senses
Where a once decisive volume becomes misdirected
And the Sacred loose control…..looking back and blinking

Eminent mind absorption, has a wide-ranged atlas
Stuck in the trunk of a car and never used?
Historical and geographical tapping rich in the veins
Infamous eagerness cultures wide-eyed accord, uncontaminated
Celebrated episodes, with coats around reflective moments
Each and every blood cell dreaming

I am a conscientious objector of grim malice…
Everyone needs their own quietism…transcendence
Whose to say lizards are not worthy of God and awful creatures?
Which recently has taken form, speculating deep pleasures
Rubbing my throat raw, where human forms act like sleazy skunks

Where there’s a presence of familiar…genuineness assures
Which is our very own night on stage…
Dawn assures the worthy Lord and his universe
We are and always will be flowers of youth…beautiful rose petals
Which will move into summer’s expressed inexhaustible

In a tone of regard, direction takes on a prophetic tenderness
Where earth and its offerings, contain a continuance
Of some wandering silent surprise
Now direction alters, and we become eyes that were partially blind
Well, order and justice prevail….in our minds, to our salvation
My breath for the moment is life….returning as a fairer child
In oneness with the even, vivid, rough, intense and dear

Then, I’m dementia rising to an eternal universe
One of which, I’ve discovered along the road
There is no comprehension, I give up…and wander toward the beckoning
And become a carnivore of marriage to the sea….and it’s sunrise,
Where companionship becomes our offspring

LeeJ,
In the words of a professor you are asking why. and as the saying goes, "Ours is not to question why, Ours is but to do and die."
As always enjoyed the write.

True,  and thankful to say that only I know
me well....  For everyone else might think
I were a little "different" at times....

Very well written Lee....a swirl
of emotions and thoughts whisking amongst
the syllables and sounds...
