there’s a leak in my head,
where I’ve spent my hours breaking.

in a while,
these cracks will fix themselves.
I am peaceful,
I am useful,

I fail so well.

Help me dig in the graveyard,
we will unearth these bones,
we will rain with our insanity

things fall to pieces,
jagged and shining

Grab my hand and
pull me…

either way is good,
we rewrote the textbook,
we broke the rules of mathematics,
we jammed the puzzles into the wrong places

your face is made of dirt and stone,
worthless as the earth itself.

give us reason,
or nothing at all,
I beg.

combine these words into sentences,
help make sense of my faults

unfreeze my blood.

things never add up

Insanity reigns, yes it does.

Saw a very interesting play yesterday - I have a feeling if you could ever see it, you would find yourself enjoying the entire concept.  Proof, by David Auburn.  I like the way you switched the title on me at the end.

Smiling at these lines kiddo...me, too.  A third excellent write from you, in as many reads.  I'm humbled, truly.

Damn Wind that is good. You have the ability to drag the reader on a roller coaster ride of thought making them see just what you want. Excellent poem. Well done.

(big hugggsssssss) Then again, sanity is overrated, so we never need a calculator to know things measure up! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Liz, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
